Partok

With unhurried dedication and unstoppable momentum, Partok has built a career shaped by intuition and a deep connection to rhythm.

For more than a decade, he has been one of Berlin’s most enduring presences, holding regular performances at both Panorama Bar and Berghain. The queer underground has long been a vehicle for his journey, with marathon sets demanding focus, patience, and careful control over energy. His longevity and quiet authority have carried him onto the international scene, with regular appearances at London’s Adonis, BLITZ in Munich, and BASEMENT in New York, as well as performances at festivals such as Glastonbury’s Block9, Love International, Houghton, and Lost Village.

His aesthetic is rooted in the origins of underground dance music, taking cues from the rawness of both US and UK foundations. Acid-tinged patterns, rolling toms, and full-bodied low ends combine into a sound that is punchy and alive, preserving the groove without becoming monotone, and infusing the ride with content and emotion. Or, as Dekmantel noted on his mix for their series, “He packs plenty in, dexterously switching up the mood as he weaves through evocative and emotional sounds, always powered by crisp drums.”

This energy also fuels his latest project, Laundrette, a collaboration with Roi Perez and David Elimelech. What began as a series of intimate gatherings has grown into one of Berlin’s most talked-about nights, defined by marathon B3B sessions that blur intimacy and intensity.
